Why Markdific exists
Markdown files are everywhere now, and many of the people who receive them have never heard of Markdown.
AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini write their answers in Markdown, and saving one gives you a .md file. README files, project notes and documentation use the same format. Opened in a plain text editor, these files show their formatting symbols: # for headings, * for emphasis and | for table columns.
Most Markdown tools are built for developers and writers who work in Markdown all day. We wanted an app for everyone else: open the file, read it as a formatted document, change something if needed, and export it to PDF or Word to share.
Markdific is that app. It opens any .md file and shows headings, tables, code, math and diagrams the way the author intended. You can edit the formatted document directly, or switch to the Markdown source when you want to.
